Barnes & Boring

I frequently stop and pop into Barnes & Noble when I have time that I need to kill.  Well lately it seems that it has just been Barnes & Boring.  One of my favorite sections is the bargain books section.  Well, it seems that it has become a not so interesting section.  It’s just the same stuff that they have had for a long time.  There hasn’t really been much of anything new and interesting to look at.  I was there today and didn’t really see much that captured my attention or interest anywhere.  This is probably a good thing.  I most definitely don’t need any more books or magazines.  Oh, I have one more reflection.  The prices for magazines at Barnes & Noble are like highway robbery.  I don’t really even comprehend the meaning of the phrase “highway robbery”.  It just popped into my head.  It’s like my own mind just gave me a vocabulary phrase to go look up.  What is the significance of the word highway in the phrase?

Back to my reflection about the Barnes & Noble news stand.  The magazines are priced as though they are books.  That’s ridiculous.  Aren’t news stand magazines supposed to have affordable prices that make purchasing them realistic.

Speaking of phrases.  I was feeling low on energy during the latter part of today and then I remembered a Spanish phrase!  Estoy muy cansada.  I still have some high school Spanish phrases tucked away in my head.

So I google searched “highway robbery” and read over the AI overview.  I did the same Google search a couple more times and looked over the AI overview each time.  Each time the AI used different sentences, examples and explanations to explain the meaning of the term.
