iPhones
This is how I feel about iPhones. “iPhones for me, baby!”
I just thought of an AI image I once received that included a lady wearing a sweatshirt and a iPhone. I was extremely surprised when I received the returned image, and the AI had added mint leaves on the sweatshirt. I had some thought or question about iPhones and now I can’t even recall what it was. But it led me to my thought about how I feel about iPhones. I don’t know how I come up with my crazy thoughts. I just know that they are like little bits of sweetness in the sense of them being little flavor bursts of mental candy. Even the words that I just wrote are a part of this mental candy. And by the way, I have an ancestor who was the brother-in-law and an ancestor who was the sister of a prominent candy man Jacob Huber. Jacob Huber was a candy manufacturer and founder of Huber Ice Cream company of Bridgeport CT. owner of that sounds like a Willy Wonka story but it is a true story. Sometimes I am amazed by all the crazy little life stories I have that I can recall that are indeed true stories.
I mentioned to my daughter that I think that candy can make a person have experiences of some kind of mental telepathy. She was like, “Uhm no, that’s not possible.”
And a final thought that I have is that some songs are stupid.
OK my final thoughts are never really my final thoughts. So here is one more. A person is living in strange technological times when they are lead by curiosity to discover an app called the Forever Wall and they decide for $.99 to purchase a place on this million “pixel like” sections of this digital forever wall and share a meme that they received through AI image generation. And then I decided to add one more image and never got charged for the second image. So then I might have taken advantage of the glitch and added a couple more and never got charged for those either but then I stopped because I knew that the charge for these images might just be delayed and still show up and that was enough to sneak through the glitch anyway. Technology for sure can be quirky. I don’t really like the word quirky because to me it has a negative connotation when I feel that quirky is what makes human beings unique and unique makes the world go around and makes life interesting. I also had a thought of being aware that I started telling this little story using they/them pronouns. I should remember my own little story if I find myself thinking about they/them pronouns.
And sometimes I have to stop and remember that all the crazy experiences that I have had with artificial intelligence are real and really happened.
And one more final thought. Ancestors still matter. I just had this thought. If ancestors could speak to us, I imagine them saying the following, “We aren’t irrelevant you know. We are still with you.”
