A Revelation

 The whole country isn’t screwed up because Donald Trump and his circle of other crazy appointed and elected officials are.  It’s good to remember that normal people still go about the normal business of life and function as normal human beings.  We all need to be connected with the normal business of life and the sanity of normally functioning people.  This is actually smart!  It’s not smart to be ignorant and disconnected from realities taking place in the world that we live in, but it’s also not smart to lose connection with the greater and real picture of things as they actually are.  It’s good to remember that sometimes crazy stuff can seem to have a loud voice online but it doesn’t mean that it’s as all pervasive as it might seem.  I am reminded of the early days and months of the Covid pandemic.  There was all that conspiracy theory and misinformation crap online about both the pandemic and the Covid vaccinations when they were developed and became available.  That kind of stuff is really worrisome.  For me it was kind of like a revelation though when I was able to go get my first Covid vaccination and lo and behold there were lots & lots of other people also there to get their vaccines who didn’t buy into all the misinformation and crazy conspiracy shit about the pandemic or the vaccines.  I guess the crazy balancing act is to be a person who is informed and aware about everything taking place in our world while also being a connected and functional part of the continuing of the status quo of normalcy and sanity.

Wow, thinking and trying to understand everything is hard work in 21st century as is trying to find words to express and write about it all.  Changes that can make life easier and better also add levels of unexpected added challenge and complexity.  Phew! 😅 There is no moving backwards from all the changes of the 21st century.  Mentally and emotionally navigating all these things is like a full time job.
